Cheap Fun

So, my son and daughter have been playing with one of my water pipe insulators for a while now.  I did not think anything of it until I threw it down the stairs, and it zoomed!  It made me think of the Nerf guns that are out there with the Styrofoam bullets.  It also, made me think of the swords that they have now that are Styrofoam.  I got a little creative on this one and thought about how much fun my kids would have.


Well, I decided to cut up one of the Styrofoam insulators and I kept them straight.  Now, you can throw them and they zoom or you can have a sword fight and dramatically die.  We decided on both.  We used the pool in the yard that is empty and we tried to throw the 'Arrow' into the pool.  I honestly, cannot believe how much fun we had.  I did keep it long for a while, and then I decided to go to the store to buy a couple more.  Hey, for $1.97 I cannot beat the price for cheap fun!
