Hello and WELCOME! I am so glad you are here. NO, honestly I am! If you are here it means that you care about God, your children, your health, well-being, family, environment, crafts, house, cars, saving money and most of all how to do it all by yourself. Being frugal is my middle name! This means that I try to do most of the home repairs, regular maintenance on my cars and I try to make almost everything by myself. Enjoy, I know I do!

Homemade Laundry Soap
After throwing away my millionth liquid laundry soap container I decided there has to be a better way, AND THERE IS!!! Honestly, before talking to my friends I did not know that it was possible to make your own laundry detergent. Never, in a million years did I ever think I would do something like that. And, it has saved us so much waste and money. At $2 for 10 gallons of laundry soap you can't beat that!9/21/12

GERM-A-PHOBE
Ok, so incase you did not know I am a 'GERM-A-PHOBE'! I am a really bad 'GERM-A-PHOBE'. In fact it
is so bad that I take rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle in my purse to drench
the shopping cart during the winter. I also, spray the toys at the library and
anywhere that may have germs... So, I spray my mixture just about everywhere. I ended up buying one of those tiny spray bottle for $1.00 at the local grocery store in the 'health & beauty' section.

Cleaning Blood...
About 13 years ago I gave blood for the first time, while I was in High school. While I was giving blood the assistant principal of my school was sitting next to me giving blood as well. Only when the nurse poked him with the larger needle he sprayed blood everywhere. Now being the assistant principal of a school means ties, and dress shirts.8/11/12

Homemade Fabric Softener
Ok, there are a couple of ways to make homemade fabric softener. One of them is to use Vinegar in the rinse cycle. I did use about 1/4 of a cup of Vinegar. However, hanging my clothes outside and not using the dryer with the fabric softener sheets or, liquid fabric softener my clothes smell like NOTHING... Not even fresh air. They literally smell like nothing. Now, when I use a lot of Vinegar in the rinse cycle my clothes will smell like Vinegar. I cannot remember where I saw this mixture on the internet when I was searching for homemade fabric softener. However, I found out all you needed was conditioner and water.
