Now, do not be mislead by 'Noiseless Fun'. What I really mean is that the 'toys do not make any noise NOT the children. I was making smoothies one morning for 'T' and I, and it was too thick for us to just drink out of the cup. So, I go into the cupboard and get a straw. As I am grabbing the straw I grab an extra one and start drumming all over 'T's head.
He thought it was pretty funny and started drumming away. It was pretty simple yet that little moment made him extremely happy. Here the straws probably cost $0.10 and he played with them for hours. It's something that he can take anywhere, have matching ones or different color ones. And, the best part is if you lose one you usually have a bag somewhere in the house where you can get another one.
I do want to add that he did not just use them for drumming. 'T' used them as noise makers and yelled into them, and as swords. We even went as far as cutting some up and taking our play doh and making porcupine balls with the straws. So, one little straw can become a million different things! It just takes your imagination!
