Smiley Heart Balloons

My son 'T' and daughter 'E' received a free balloon from the event we attended this past weekend.  My kids L-O-V-E balloons and think they are amazing.  Balloons are amazing, they float always trying to go higher and higher.  My favorite part of a balloons life is when they have just enough helium to make them stay right by you.  However, they do not last much longer after they reach the 'floating' part of their lifecycle.


Well, as you can guess 'T' broke his balloon and was devastated.  So, to make him feel better I decided to go to the store and pay the $1.33 for 30 balloons.  I only did this because this is not the first time he has had a balloon that popped and he gets so upset about it.  I wanted to show him that yes it is nice to have a balloon.  However, they are not as 'special' as you may think they are. 

After I bought the balloons I blew up 3 of them and then waited for my daughter 'E' to come home.  When 'E' finally got home she had me blow up a balloon, but she didn't want me to tie if off, and let it go...  Yes, I said, "and let it go!"  Well, just so you know blowing up balloons and letting them fly across the room over and over again, is the funniest thing in the world.  My kids played with that balloon for about an hour!  So, if you would like to invest in balloons I would highly recommend it!
