POISON CONTROL!

Poison Control gives me the answer before the 'Emergency Room' visit.  I have called them so many times it's ridiculous.  They ask for my zip and say, 'Oh hi Krystal how are you today?!'  I call them 'BEFORE' I need to call them.  Very few times have I actually called them during an acutal emergency.  I called them when I was pregnant and asked if it was ok to mix certain drugs together.  And, I called them today to ask if I could give my 7 year-old an antacid for her upset stomach. 


I love Poison Control.  If you have a question about ANYTHING I suggest that you call them and they can give you an answer within a few minutes.  I let them know when I call that I am calling for a 'Preventative Measure', that it is not an emergency so they don't have to rush to get me an answer. 

I call them so much they mailed me a magnet with their number on it.  Even though I know their number by heart, and so does my phone :)  Here is Poison Controls website as well!
