Poison Control gives me the answer before the 'Emergency Room' visit. I have called them so many times it's ridiculous. They ask for my zip and say, 'Oh hi Krystal how are you today?!' I call them 'BEFORE' I need to call them. Very few times have I actually called them during an acutal emergency. I called them when I was pregnant and asked if it was ok to mix certain drugs together. And, I called them today to ask if I could give my 7 year-old an antacid for her upset stomach.
Hello and WELCOME! I am so glad you are here. NO, honestly I am! If you are here it means that you care about God, your children, your health, well-being, family, environment, crafts, house, cars, saving money and most of all how to do it all by yourself. Being frugal is my middle name! This means that I try to do most of the home repairs, regular maintenance on my cars and I try to make almost everything by myself. Enjoy, I know I do!

Counting, Pssh 'Yeah Right!'
For the last SEVERAL months I have been working on my 2-year-old 'T's counting. Well, let's just say we get to 3... And, then it all falls apart, 7, 9, 5, 2, 3... I have tried so hard, I count everything. I bet I have counted to 10 more than anyone in the entire world has ever counted to 10 (LOL maybe a little over dramatic). However, you get the point. 'T' is just not interested in counting AT ALL. Now, you give him a picture to color and he does great. His hand-eye coordination is really great. I am actually very impressed on his hand-eye coordination. And, he loves to color. We have counted crayons, markers, jumps, skips you name it we count it!

Removing Super Glue
Ok, since I just did the post about Super Glue, I thought I should go into a little bit more detail about Super Glue... For instance the bottle to my left is my FAVORITE for of Super Glue. Why?! You ask, because, it LASTS FOREVER! And, it has a trigger on the side of it. On each side is the blue grated sides, those are the triggers. So, you don't have to squeeze a tube and have it go all over the place. I do want to tell you a couple of things about the Super Glue before you use it...

Broken Fingernail
I know I am not the only one that suffers from this. And, that would be the inevitable broken nail. It usually happens to my left thumb and my right pointer finger. Without fail I go to grab something and it's heavier than I expected, and wham it bends my fingernail just enough to crack it on the side. I would normally just rip it off and not make a big deal about, but I know that if i rip 'THESE' off they will bleed and hurt... for days... I used to put a band-aid on them for a few days until they grew out enough I could just cut them off and start over. However, I cannot stand band-aids on my fingers. I can handle a band-aid just about anywhere else, except my fingers. It just drives me crazy and I cannot keep them on. And, I feel like my finger sweat.

Yarn Bracelets
The other day my mom was here and she usually does something special with my daughter 'E' while she is here. This time she made yarn bracelets with her. Actually, she had 'E' crochet them and she tied them off. Now 'E' is making them like crazy to give to everyone. Her goal is to make hundreds of them and sell them to people for a QUARTER a piece. I love her resourceful thinking.

Goo 'to the' Gone
So, I was cleaning off the 'glue' on the side of the fabric softener container, when all of a sudden it hit me like a brick wall. 'Krystal, do you think it's possible to make 'Goo Gone'?' Well, I thought for a minute and as I am using 'Goo Gone' I started using my senses. This stuff smells 'lemony' and is pretty greasy stuff..............................
